Why choose XPile™ Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) piles over steel, wood, or concrete?
Traditional piling materials degrade rapidly in Gulf Coast marine environments. Treated wood rots and requires retreatment. Steel rusts and demands ongoing corrosion protection. Concrete spalls and cracks under saltwater exposure. XPile™ FRP piles eliminate all three failure modes.

Engineered for marine performance
Electrolysis-free — safe for boats and marine hardware
XPile™ FRP piles are non-conductive. They produce no electrolysis and no galvanic corrosion. Steel piles in marine environments create electrical currents that corrode nearby metal fittings, zincs, propellers, and hull hardware. XPile eliminates this risk entirely. For marina operators and dock owners, this means lower hardware replacement costs and longer equipment life.
How are XPile™ Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) piles installed?
XPile™ FRP piles can be installed using standard marine pile driving methods including vibration hammers, impact hammers, and drop hammers. The lightweight FRP material allows smaller equipment and smaller crews compared to concrete or steel piles. In many cases, FRP piles can be hand-stood into position before driving.
