American Pole & Timber provides heat treatment services and the ISPM 15 HT Stamp on materials purchased directly from us and on materials you deliver to us solely for treatment.

Specifically, the ISPM 15 standard for the heat treatment of wood packaging materials or components requires that wood packaging material should be heated in a schedule that attains a minimum core temperature of 56° C (133° F) for at least 30 minutes.

The U.S. certification program for heat treatment is administered by the American Lumber Standards Committee. American Pole & Timber’s heat treating facilities and services meet or exceed the International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures Guidelines for Regulating Wood Packaging Material in International Trade (ISPM 15).

ISPM 15 Stamp and Documents Provided


Your heat treated wood products will be clearly marked with the “HT” stamp required for international export under ISPM 15 regulations and you will receive the appropriate documentation to ship or sell your products.
