A: Absolutely, we will ship materials anywhere within the United States and we have shipped materials overseas as well.

A: Absolutely. Whether you are a contractor, installer, engineer or architect, or a homeowner, we will work with you to produce exactly what you need based on your specifications.

Q: What are the actual dimensions of lumber?

A: The actual dimensions depend on the kind of lumber you are purchasing. In general, rough lumber is the "full cut" and smooth lumber is "nominal." For instance, a rough 6x6 is actually 6 inches by 6 inches, whereas a smooth 6x6 is 5 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches because of the planer process.

 

Q: What size board should I use to span X number of feet?

Will you help me design my project?

A: Yes, we do offer design advice. Our Project Consultants are knowledgeable of the materials we supply and the engineers and designers with whom we work will design your projects for a very fair fee. For some projects, we will provide the engineer services free-of-charge.
